(Author's note: I'll probably leave most of the old poems and ponderings from my last web site out of this blog--mainly because a lot of them are no longer relevant. Reading through what I managed to salvage, they reflect my personal journey as a writer over the past 20 years or so, but they would otherwise clutter up anything new I have to say.
This poem, on the other hand, is still very, very relevant.)
He who fears the vampire hunter sees nothing in the mirror's pane.
He who opposes cross and clove hungers for blood in the living vein.
Many petition in favor of night;
Few remain at dawn.
Those who join them in banning the light....
...Will miss it when it is gone.
Happy All Hallow's Eve!
